Would it matter if I got a BS in Geography or a BS in Geographic Information Systems?

It doesn't matter to me, because doing the regular geography degree would mean i'm taking the same courses I would in a GIS degree, I'm just wondering if saying I have a BS in GIS rather than BS in geography might look too specialized- if I end up struggling to find a job, would it be better to have a geography degree incase I begin to look outside of GIS jobs?
