My dad is taking my dog away what should i do 2 stop him?

well my dad bought me a dog for christmas and yesterday he said he was gonna tke her 2 the pound and i am only 10 years old and i was crying all night because this was my first dog and he was gonna take her away because we werent watching her and she pooped in the dining room and he sleeps till lke 2 pm so i have a little bit of time plz answer i need help about 3 more hours till he wakes up
