Think I'll hear from him again?

There's this guy I had been flirting back and forth with for months and he finally asked me out. He was a perfect gentleman and always has been. We had been drinking and I ended up going home with him and one thing led to another. The next day we made awkward conversation, he drove me home and even walked me to my door. 2 days later he left for home ( he lives 20 hrs away). The night we were together he asked when I would visit him but was it only a post-coital haze that made him ask? I haven't heard from him since (and I did try to contact him). Maybe he was too drunk to remember what we did. I never pegged him as the "hit it and quit it" type. Think I'll ever hear from him again?
