Do you believe the bible is complete true facts and you should live you life by it, and where is your proof?

I believe the Bible teaches us how to live a life that is good by showing us the past. People learn from experience,and this book has a whole lot of experience in it. Unfortunately people seem to take it so literally and forget that it was a compilation of books from hundreds of years ago. The laws have changed in 2,000 years and so has the way of living. People say, "Well if you believe in the Bible then why don't you stone your children?" That is simply ridiculous and why do they think for a minute that is what we learn from the Bible? As far as the proof, It's in my life and I don't need to prove it to anyone. If someone wants to know why I'm happy and at peace then I will tell them It's because of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit, and if you want the same then read into the Bible, It's a great place to start.
