Why did Zeus his own son, Ares The God Of war?

Although i'm quite interested in mythology i never read or came across this paragraph but anyhow in all stories there's one common trait to Zeus; he does just as his instincts dictate and if he lusted for someone he would just jump right onto them. Zeus is well known for his ual activities, he outdoes Aphrodite. It doesn't really matter whether it's , , ity or anything of that kind. Zeus is a very strong and instinctive ual figure in mythology.
