What do you do to give your pet Rat's cage an extra good clean?

Do you have a hose? You can take it outside and hose it off. You really should get one if you don't, because rats tend to be pretty messy and the walls/bars can have little bits of urine and feces on them even if you try to wipe it up. Nothing beats a good hosing. I usually take a scrubber brush and a big soapy bucket of water and scrub all my cages thoroughly then hose them back off and let them air dry.
