Is it normal for newly peirced ears to be swolen?

I would give it a few move days. If something is forcefully rammed through the skin and flesh, it is bound to be swollen. Clean them ALOT. if they start to fell warm, get red, or start oozing pus you should probably take out the earings and see if things clear up, if not fo see a doc. and if you start running a fever ( a sign of an infection) go see a doc.
