Is basic Christianity for US Americans the starting point for other religions?
You know, once people believe in the basic concepts of a higher power, an afterlife and a savior who died for their sins, they can then be made to believe all sorts of other stuff. Christianity makes people in the US like a computer with just BIOS and a formatted hard drive which can be programmed with an operating system which can be one of dozens of different religions like evangelical, Southern Baptist, Mormon, Scientology, Jehovah’s Witness etc. And this phenomenon is more exemplified in the USA because for some reason, the USA is like a breeding ground for new religions. Just about every new ‘religion’ that’s around these days had its origin in the USA.
